According to him, Moscow has repeatedly stated that there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements.

“Now that there is no alternative to the Minsk process, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has also confirmed, stressing his readiness to work on resolving the Ukrainian crisis with both sides,” RIA Novosti quoted Patrushev as saying.

He noted that in accordance with the Minsk Agreements, Kiev, after the withdrawal of troops from the contact line, was supposed to start a dialogue with the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR on elections and special status.

“However, these and many other points of the document have not yet been fulfilled,” concluded Patrushev.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that Moscow would never abandon the Minsk agreements and would demand the implementation of the agreements.
