Under these circumstances, the Liberal Democratic Party has begun to coordinate next year's party convention with the intention of holding it at a hotel in Tokyo on March 13.



At the convention, the party executives will unite the party for the summer Upper House election, and will revise the party rules necessary to realize party reforms such as restrictions on the term of office of officers that Prime Minister Kishida is eager to do. I want to do.



In addition, regarding the party's movement policy, which includes efforts to amend the Constitution, we will proceed with the drafting of the draft for the decision at the party convention.



On the other hand, regarding the operation and scale of the tournament, we will carefully consider whether to reduce the number of attendees as in the case of the tournament, while checking the infection status of the new coronavirus.
