With our correspondent in Bamako,

Wrapped up in a traditional outfit, a black cap on his head, Issa Kaou Djim rather welcomed the verdict.
The former fourth vice-president of the CNT will not return to prison, he receives a suspended sentence.
In front of the press, in his first remarks he clearly hinted that he will continue to play politics locally: “
We want to be on the side of those who have ideas for ending the crisis.
Mali today needs to be reconciled with the world, but Mali cannot live in autarky
.
"
Clearly, for him, we must reach out to the international community to get out of the crisis.
It goes further in its new positioning, by siding with those who want a rather short transition.

Exceptional situation
"
We believe that the greatness of a man is to be those who propose solutions,
" said Issa Kaou Djim, "
that the most important, as quickly as possible, is to create conditions for transparent elections , credible, so that we emerge from this exceptional situation.
"
The next step for Issa Kaou Ndjim, also known for his criticism of the Malian Prime Minister: to build, he says, a solid political base in order to influence the events in his country.
