03 December 2021 Prime Minister Mario Draghi has gathered the control room on the maneuver at Palazzo Chigi, in view of the discussion in the Council of Ministers on the amendment to the budget law on tax cuts. At issue is the use of the 2 billion 'surplus' in 2022, to be allocated to the fall in bills and to a deduction for lower income from work.

The government amendment to the maneuver will confirm the structural cut of 7 billion of Irpef and 1 billion of IRAP starting from 2022. This is what is learned - writes Ansa - from various sources present at the control room at Palazzo Chigi, according to the which did not affect the allocation at the basis of the agreement reached between the parties at the Ministry of the Economy for the cut in taxes.

The government is thinking of a solidarity contribution to at least partially sterilize the increases in the cost of energy bills.

This is what Prime Minister Mario Draghi would have announced in the control room at Palazzo Chigi on the maneuver.

The intervention, according to what Ansa learns from government sources, is still under study and to be defined in detail.
