Kilde was just 3 / 100th ahead of the Swiss Marco Odermatt, who had won the first super-G on the "Birds of Prey" the day before, and as such retains the lead in the general classification.

American Travis Ganong completed the podium at 37 / 100th, ahead of Austrian Olympic champion Matthias Mayer, relegated to 92 / 100th behind Kilde.

Pinturault, although he started off well since he was in front after the first two sectors, was unable to keep his promises at the end of the course.

He finished as the day before in 6th place, just ahead of Matthieu Bailet (7th at 1 sec 20), Nils Allegre finishing 11th (at 1 sec 59).

The skiers have an appointment on Saturday for the descent in the Colorado resort.
