The Austrian Finance Minister Gernot Blümel resigns.
"I have decided to leave politics," said Blümel on Thursday evening in a statement published on Facebook.
The final resignation of ex-Chancellor and ÖVP boss Sebastian Kurz was the final impetus for his decision, he said.
