“On December 2, 2021, convict Radik Talgatovich Gaifutdinov escaped from correctional colony No. 6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Samara Region from the exit facility,” RIA Novosti quoted the press service of the regional FSIN as saying.
According to the press service, the escaped prisoner was convicted under Part 1 of Article 226 of the Criminal Code of Russia (theft or extortion of weapons, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices) and sentenced to 5 years 10 months in prison.
Operational search activities are being carried out.
Earlier it was reported that in the Leningrad region, the IC organized an inspection after the prisoner escaped from the hospital.
