As UAC recalled, both the merged companies, Sukhoi and MiG, are among the leaders in the global aircraft industry.
The merger will lead to a reduction in management levels and a simplification of the corporate structure of the UAC, which will eliminate duplicate administrative functions, as well as reduce general business costs.
“Along with other measures, this should ensure an increase in the financial stability and investment attractiveness of the UAC as a whole,” added the corporation.
