Pike when new speed cameras on road 250 between Kungsör and Köping came into place

The Swedish Transport Administration wanted to rebuild the road between Kungsör and Köping into a so-called 2 + 1 road according to Mikael Alm, project manager at the Swedish Transport Administration.

He believes that road 250 has the right width, so the intervention would be relatively simple.

- It is the crash violence that we want.

But Kungsör municipality wanted something else and then Region Västmanland, which is the owner of the road, chose not to proceed with that project.

The chairman of the Kungs-Barkaröbygden interest association is happy that the cameras have been set up and is considering whether it could be that they have been listened to.
