China News Service, December 2nd. According to the US "Overseas News" report, in support of Philadelphia, the "anti-discrimination, anti-violence, anti-bullying, safe city" march and rally were held on November 30th from more than 80 overseas Chinese groups. 400 supporters, not afraid of the cold, gathered at the gate of the Flushing Library to hold a rally in support of the New York Overseas Chinese community in anti-discrimination and anti-violence in Philadelphia.

On November 17th, an 18-year-old Chinese high school student was beaten and injured in the Philadelphia subway to prevent bullying and racial intimidation.

At the solidarity rally on November 30, U.S. Congressman Meng Zhaowen mentioned in her speech that the Chinese-American Ms. Ma was smashed and injured a few days ago in Flushing. She said that Chinese people are not only facing the mentally ill, drug addicts, etc. The pressure for social security also faces the pressure of discrimination and prejudice.

For a long time, Asian Americans, and even many people born and raised in the United States like her, have not been treated as Americans.

Meng Zhaowen mentioned that the Chinese need to enable the next generation to learn more accurate American history in education, including the contribution of the Chinese to the construction of the United States, and to ensure that the Chinese community and all communities are protected from discrimination and prejudice.

New York State Senator Stevinsky said that everyone came from different parts of the world and came to the United States as a whole. She was shocked when she read about hate attacks against Asians in the newspaper.

Hatred is the most terrible thing. Everyone can become a victim.

She thanked all the Chinese communities in New York for their efforts and gathered everyone to speak up on this matter.

New York State Representative Brownstein believes that it is very important for everyone to participate in this rally. People should not let the discriminatory violence in Philadelphia become ordinary incidents because of indifference.

Everyone gathers to speak up, not just for the Asian community, everyone should speak up for it.

The convener of the event, Chen Zhaoyin, president of the Fujian Guild Hall, told reporters that he was very touched by the active participation and support of so many overseas Chinese groups and people in such a short period of time. He was fighting to safeguard his dignity and defend his legitimate rights and interests. The event was held smoothly.

He also called on the Chinese children in the United States to have a sense of urgency and danger, to actively participate in politics, to concentrate the Chinese forces, and to make a strong counterattack against all discrimination and violence.
