The Investigative Committee of Russia has completed the investigation of criminal cases against two residents of the Republic of Ingushetia, accused under Part 3 of Art.

234 of the Criminal Code.

"Criminal cases with an approved indictment were sent to the Malgobek City Court of Ingushetia," the ministry said in a statement.

In total, 15 residents of the North Caucasus Federal District were brought to criminal responsibility, including former employees of the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Ingushetia.

According to the materials of the criminal case, the leader and members of the criminal community organized the purchase of medicines containing potent substances from organizations licensed to carry out pharmaceutical activities.

“To obtain maximum material benefits, members of the criminal community illegally sold potent substances at a price five times higher than that at which they were purchased from licensed organizations,” the UK website said in a statement.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office of the Kirov region approved the indictment in a criminal case against four members of an organized criminal group of drug dealers.

From November 2018 to November 2020, the organized crime group was engaged in the large-scale sale of synthetic drugs in the territory of the Kirov region and the Komi Republic.
