On Wednesday, a 24-year-old young woman was sentenced to follow a citizenship course for contempt, after throwing a packet of flour in the face of François de Rugy, reports the newspaper

.

The scene, filmed and broadcast on social networks, took place in June, during the regional campaign to which the deputy presented himself under the LREM label.

The candidate was on the terrace of a café, Place du Bouffay in Nantes, when he was dusted with flour by the activist.

Six months of suspended prison had been required against this extracurricular animator, who was accused of having caused "psychological violence".

François de Rugy, absent at the hearing, had not become a civil party, specifies the daily.
