Fourth in the sprint on Sunday on the same track, Jacquelin (26) has once again proven that he is fully recovered from his fractured left wrist that occurred last summer.

Despite a shooting foul, he was very solid on the skis to earn his first podium of the season.

In difficulty in the first two races of the World Cup, Quentin Fillon-Maillet (29 years old), 3rd in the general classification during the three previous exercises, was perfectly redeemed by finishing 3rd with a 9/10 with the rifle.

The two French, however, could not do anything against the formidable Sebastian Samuelsson, impressive on the track.

Already victorious in the sprint on Sunday, the Swede (24), yet the author of a shooting error, still finished with 18 seconds ahead of Jacquelin to sign the third success of his career.

Simon Desthieux, who wore for the first time the yellow jersey of the leader of the World Cup, will for his part return the tunic faster than he hoped.

The Frenchman, 23rd, cedes the first position in the general classification to Samuelsson.
