that was attacked in the region of Porga, not far from the Pendjari park, 650 km north-west of Cotonou and close to the Brukinabe border.

Heavy toll

On the FOB side, the toll is heavy.

Two soldiers were killed and between five and seven were injured, according to the sources.

They were all evacuated to a hospital in the area.

The number of attackers is still unknown and no press release has been issued.

The membership of the group of attackers is therefore, for the time being, still unknown.

The Beninese government has not yet communicated on the attack, but, according to our information, the boss of the army has sent a written message to his men.
