The numbers, according to the minister, are "encouraging", but he recommends not letting your guard down even if "the incidence rises to 146 (out of 100 thousand inhabitants, ed) but less than in other EU countries".



A leap on third doses


The minister underlined a leap in the flow of administrations in recent days: "Yesterday 315,290 third doses carried out in our country".



The campaign for over 18s is underway


"There are 96 million and 335 thousand doses administered to date: our numbers are very encouraging", added Speranza, who announces the start today of the vaccination campaign for the recalls of the over 18.



Covid, the European numbers

"Strengthen controls on foreign entry"


The minister announces that the government will move in the direction of strengthening controls for entry from abroad: "Strengthen controls not only in airports, but also for other means of transport and in places of arrival such as in the Friuli Venezia area Giulia". 



€ 90 million allocated to the emergency room


A priority - concluded Speranza - is that of emergency medicine, and for this purpose the government undergoing maneuvers will invest € 90 million "for a specific function allowance for the emergency room staff".
