Nine men and one woman in Frankfurt and the districts of Darmstadt-Dieburg, Gießen, Groß-Gerau, Limburg-Weilburg, Main-Kinzig and Marburg-Biedenkopf are accused of having made criminal statements on social networks.

Among other things, politicians are said to have been insulted and threatened and women are said to have been attacked “in a sexualized manner”.

The Federal Criminal Police Office coordinated the “day of action to combat hate postings” in several countries.

Expected protest
