The Swedish Transport Administration about the train chaos: "Full understanding that you get frustrated"

For most of Monday and Tuesday, train traffic between Uppsala and Knivsta was suspended due to cracks in a switch on the track south of Uppsala.

On Wednesday, traffic will be affected by a track fault at Arlanda, which is expected to be repaired by Thursday morning.

- Getting caught up in an event like this is not something you want and I fully understand that travelers get frustrated about it, says Bengt Olsson, press manager at the Swedish Transport Administration.
