01 December 2021 The Chamber has given the green light to the confidence requested by the Government on the decree law that regulates the capacities in places open to the public, in reference to the pandemic emergency.

426 were in favor, 47 against. The final vote is expected in the evening around 20:30 - after the question time. The provision is already approved by the Senate. In the afternoon the Assembly will proceed with the examination of the relative agendas and the definitive go-ahead, without corrections with respect to the text licensed by the Senate.

What the decree provides

The decree law establishes new percentages of public access to cultural, sporting and recreational activities and also intervenes on the organization of public administrations and on the rules relating to the protection of personal data. In particular, the rules relating to the performance, in the

"white areas" and "yellow areas"

, of shows open to the public in theatrical halls, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment venues and live music and in other venues or spaces

are amended

, even outdoors.

Specifically, it is expected that in the "yellow zone", in addition to continuing to ensure compliance with the distancing and verifying the possession of one of the Covid-19 green certifications (the 'super green pass' was introduced with a subsequent emergency measure ), the permitted capacity cannot exceed 50% of the maximum authorized.

While in the "white zone" it is no longer necessary to respect the interpersonal distance of at least one meter and the capacity allowed is equal to the maximum authorized.

Among the corrections voted by Palazzo Madama is the expansion of the filling capacity of tourist buses from 80% to 100%, in full safety and in compliance with current regulations.
