South Korea is newly included in the target of Japan's mandatory quarantine at the airport entry stage to prevent the inflow of Omicron, a new mutant of Corona 19.

According to the measures to strengthen entry restrictions announced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan on the 1st, South Korea along with Australia, Sweden, Germany and Portugal has been added to the countries/regions that require all entrants to stay in accommodations designated for quarantine for six days.

As a result of this measure, from 00:00 on the 3rd, anyone entering Japan from Korea will have to wait for six days at an accommodation designated by the Japanese authorities and undergo inspection.

If the test is negative on the 3rd and 6th days after entry, you will leave this facility and self-quarantine at home until the 14th day from the date of entry.
