Visitors to "Expo 2020 Dubai" followed an artistic show called "The Journey of the Fifty", designed and implemented with impressive performance capabilities and an unprecedented artistic style, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates.

The show, in which more than 200 performers from the countries participating in Expo 2020 Dubai, participated in introducing the audience to the stages of the Emirati renaissance since the establishment of the Federation in 1971, as it tells the story of the people of the Emirates, who pursued marine currents, learned the language of the stars, and listened. To the sound of the wind, it reveals to them its secrets.

The show sheds light on the success stories of the Union, which aroused a sense of national pride in the audience, so they raised their necks and phones to commemorate this historical moment full of achievements and successes.

She played the role of the "narrator", this time as a woman... to be the voice of the woman who has been represented in the Emirati culture and is still the spirit of the place and the leader of generations, in an open invitation to the people of the nation to be proud of the national identity, love the land, adhere to the homeland, cooperation, solidarity and love that always gather the people of the nation under one banner It is the flag of the Union.

With the melodies of music, the sky of the Dome of Al-Wasl was lit up with sayings of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, whose words remained well-known and preserved in the hearts and minds of the people of the Emirates.

Among the phrases that shined in the sky of the dome were: “He who does not know his past cannot live his present and his future. From the past we learn and gain experience and benefit from lessons and results.”

In the context of telling the story of the Emirati Renaissance, the dome reviewed the principles advocated by the Union on the fiftieth anniversary of its founding.

The dazzling light show culminated in a famous saying by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai: “They say the sky is the ceiling of ambitions, and we say the sky is only the beginning.”

As for the end, it is the boundaries of space and the discovery of Mars, to which travel began at the end of the show from the borders of the Al-Wasl Dome, in an exceptional direct artistic simulation of the UAE’s successful experience with Mars, following the announcement of the arrival of the “Probe of Hope” to its orbit on the Red Planet.

During the show, the visitors were surprised by the exit of an astronaut from the heart of the dome, in an unprecedented scene recorded by the UAE for the first time as part of its celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the founding of its federation, directly from “Expo”, and in the presence of a wide audience of visitors to the event, which ended with a choral performance of the Emirati national anthem, and raised Flag in the sky of Al-Wasl Dome.
