An investigation for "willful violence against health personnel" was opened after the assault on a doctor in Orléans on Monday, November 22, reports

La République du Center

.

That day, the doctor had been taken to task after a consultation.

According to our colleagues, the altercation would have broken out over a question relating to the vaccination against the coronavirus asked to a patient.

The latter had told the health professional to wait before receiving her third dose of vaccine.

The doctor then noted this information in his medical file.

A complaint not taken into account by the police

This mention had provoked the anger of the patient who had returned to the office, a few hours later, accompanied by two men.

They were physically and verbally violent.

The doctor had tried twice to file a complaint, without success.

This court decision “is a relief,” the victim told France Bleu Orléans.
