The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services reported the preparation of a comprehensive plan to secure the fiftieth anniversary celebrations in all event areas in Dubai.
The Executive Director of the Foundation, Khalifa bin Dray, said that the plan included the preparation of a large cadre of paramedics, and a fleet of emergency vehicles of various specialties, explaining that the Foundation planned proactively to secure events, especially in the three main areas that include "Expo Dubai - Hatta - Global Village." In addition to any other festive manifestations in the Emirate of Dubai.
Bin Dray said that the Foundation was keen to cover all areas of Dubai with advanced emergency points, ensuring quick access in record time, as well as raising the readiness of ambulances to be equipped to deal with the most difficult cases.
He stressed that saving human life is the main motto of the Foundation and part of the diaries of its members, who work around the clock professionally according to international best practices. They are qualified to deal with all traffic accident injuries, fractures, and all emergency cases, especially cases of fainting, heart failure and childbirth.
He pointed out that ambulances and paramedics will be deployed near residential areas, shopping centers, tourist areas, and public parks, in addition to securing Dubai Airport terminals and state guests and visitors of all nationalities.
With regard to the “Dubai Expo”, Bin Dray said that the Foundation has prepared specialized ambulance services, depending on the type and location of the service request, such as the “Golf Car” that is used inside the Expo campus, in places where it is difficult for ambulances to enter some of them and reach them. To it, golf vehicles equipped with stretchers to transport the sick and injured to the nearest emergency point to provide the necessary medical care.
He stated that the Foundation provided 20 emergency points distributed over six sectors linked with the operating room, the Dubai Health Authority, and private hospitals.
He pointed out the availability of the electric bike service, for a rapid response to emergency communications, and the corridors are equipped with all the medical equipment necessary for pre-hospital medical intervention, and there will be nine modern ambulances equipped with the latest medical equipment, such as artificial respirators, electric shock devices and the patient's digital file.
Bin Dray confirmed that the Foundation has provided a mobile field hospital (ambulance bus), in addition to a field support unit equipped for support and backing, a mobile drug store and a mobile workshop, and will provide eight first responder vehicles, to respond in the (Expo) parking lots to serve the masses from the time of arrival. until departure.
With regard to human equipment, Bin Dray explained that the Corporation has prepared a highly qualified and specialized cadre, which has provided qualified and trained paramedics to deal with any emergency situation. Their number reaches 164, including 54 citizen paramedics, and 40 paramedics, in addition to highly qualified emergency medicine technicians, and emergency physicians.
He demanded those who suffer from diseases such as;
Diabetes, stress and heart disease, and those wishing to attend events should avoid gathering places and adhere to the instructions, advice and preventive measures issued by the official authorities.
