During the night until Saturday, October 2, an explosion occurred indoors in a building on Hjalmar Petris väg in Växjö.
The national bomb squad was called in and was able to neutralize a dangerous object that remained in the room after the explosion.

On Monday, the police announced that the preliminary investigation would be closed because they could not get a breakthrough in the case.
- We have done what we can but have not managed to find any suspects, says Christina Severinsson.
The incident is classified as general destruction and the dangerous object found indoors has been analyzed.
- I can not comment on it because the case may be taken up again, she says.
