According to him, today two types of anti-UAV weapons are being produced in Russia - soft-kill, involving electronic suppression, and hard-kill, involving physical destruction. 

"The network that unites both types of systems was first presented at the IDEX 2021 exhibition, and Pantsir-S1M will become one of its key components, in particular the group of means of physical destruction of UAVs," Mikhailova quotes TASS.

Earlier it was reported that the mobile special missile defense system S-550 being developed in Russia will be capable of shooting down the US space reusable unmanned aerial vehicles X-37.
