The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is publicly looking for a suspicious man on suspicion of serious sexual abuse of several children.
According to information from Tuesday, the search is based on the General Prosecutor's Office in Frankfurt am Main.
The investigators assume that the previously unknown man is between 31 and 51 years old.
In the period from 2010 to 2019, at least seven male children are said to have sexually abused, some of them seriously, and filmed the acts.
He is said to have distributed corresponding image and video files between 2015 and 2019 on child pornography platforms in the Darknet.
Unusual greeting "Hy"
According to the information on Tuesday, the wanted man probably has to do with children professionally or on a voluntary basis.
He also used the unusual phrase "Hy" as a greeting when addressing them.
"The Public Prosecutor's Office in Frankfurt am Main and the Federal Criminal Police Office assume that the acts took place in Germany," the message also says.
The authorities therefore have image and video files that show the serious sexual abuse of the children between one and ten years old at the time by the alleged perpetrator.
It cannot be ruled out that the suspect may have or are still abusing other children.
