“At the level of the energy ministries of Belarus and Russia, action plans for their (union programs) implementation have been agreed.

At present, an interstate agreement on the formation of a unified electricity market is being developed, "Belarus Segodnya quoted Karankevich as saying.

He noted that specialized organizations are working out the mode of joint work, the conditions of interaction for sellers and buyers of electricity, issues of infrastructure development.

Karankevich added that cooperation with Russia will also develop for the further operation of the BelNPP. 

On November 4, at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Lukashenko signed an integration decree.
