- We ended the operation last Saturday and on Monday we had a few people in place to work with both a survey and evaluation, says the operation leader Johan Keijser.

A woman in her 70s died and one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries as a result of the fire.

How it could spread as fast as it did and how it started is still unclear, according to Johan Keijser.

- We are interested in the cause of the accident and what has actually happened.

But it is also important that we look at what it was that made us get the fast pace.

When this can be clear can not be said, it usually takes a while to collect all the facts, he says.

Mediates accommodation

On two occasions on Monday, Ånge municipality organized an information meeting for those affected.

- We informed about what we can do, we help, among other things, to provide housing and tell about where to turn for call support, says Ove Skägg, security and technical manager at Ånge municipality.

During the weekend, some of the residents of the fire-damaged house were able to enter the apartments to pick up important loose objects.

But now the building has been locked.

- The property insurance company informed about this decision today.

The damage to the property is being investigated and as a security measure, those who had apartments will not be able to enter, says Ove Skägg and continues:

- When the investigation and remediation work can be completed is too early to say, but it is probably weeks we are talking about.

We have contacted the police during the day for a comment.
