New act of violence in education.

A teacher at the prestigious Lycée Montaigne, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, was injured after being violently assaulted on Monday by one of her second grade students.

This math teacher was injured in the middle of class by one of her second-grade students, aged 15, according to close and concurring sources.

The rectorate of Paris said "condemn the violence of the facts and give its full support to the teacher and to the entire educational team".

"A psychological unit will be set up from Tuesday morning for all staff and students of the establishment", continued the rectorate, indicating that "the academic direction will go on site at the first hour on Tuesday".
