A 37-year-old father dies in a fire in the Var

A violent fire claimed the life of a 37-year-old man overnight from Monday to Tuesday in La Crau, in the Var.

The fire broke out around 3:30 am in a hangar, reports France Bleu Provence.

The victim, his partner and his five-year-old child lived above a dance hall, which was completely devastated by the flames.

The family soon found themselves stranded in their home by fire.
