"If you give me 200 million, would you sell your face?"

Russian robotics startup Promobot has announced that it will pay $200,000, or approximately KRW 238 million, to anyone who lends a face and voice to a robot. The period is forever.

According to foreign media reports on the 30th of local time, Promobot plans to apply real human faces to humanoid robots that will be used in public places such as hotels, shopping malls and airports from 2023.

It is possible to use an artificial face made by a computer, but it is determined that using a real human face would look more real.

Regarding the eligibility for application, Promobot informed, "If you are an adult 25 years old or older with a friendly and friendly face, you can apply regardless of gender or race."

Anyone sharing a face and voice with the robot will have to go through 3D modeling of their own face and body. You also have to read the script for about 100 hours to duplicate your voice so you can say anything.

On the other hand, it is analyzed that the reason Promobot started to find faces and voices for humanoid robots like this was due to controversy last year.

Last year, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger sued Promobot for $10 million (about 12 billion won) after the promobot displayed a humanoid that resembled him without his permission at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA. I have raised it.

' It's a news pick.
