China News Service, Jinhua, November 29 (Xiang Jing, Dong Yixin, Wang Weiying) "We need to deepen the exchanges between relatives on both sides of the strait, and make the relationship between relatives on both sides of the strait more harmonious and warm." As a Taiwanese member, Vice President of the Taiwan Federation of Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, Pujiang Zheng Danfeng, chairman of the County Taiwan Federation, said recently.

Recalling the family relationship between the two sides of the Strait, what Zheng Danfeng impressed the most was that the grandfather living in Taiwan returned to his hometown in Pujiang to visit relatives for the first time after the "three links" between the two sides of the strait.

"How exciting is the sudden appearance of relatives whom I haven't seen in decades." This scene was deeply engraved in the mind of Zheng Danfeng, who was in junior high school at the time.

Since then, the family relationship between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait has become the deepest affection in Zheng Danfeng's heart.

Twenty years ago, Zheng Danfeng opened the first "seven wolves" clothing store in Pujiang. Now there are more than 150 franchise stores and direct-operated stores in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui and other places.

Then, because of his love for compatriots on both sides of the strait, he joined the Taiwan Federation of Trade Unions, hoping to use the platform to promote non-governmental exchanges between the two sides of the strait.

Over the past eight years, Zheng Danfeng has led the directors and members of the Pujiang County Association of Taiwan to carry out various interactive exchanges and networking activities on a regular basis, such as the Mid-Autumn Festival tea party, the New Year and New Year symposium, etc. These are all "regulated programs" every year.

According to incomplete statistics, the Pujiang County Federation of Taiwan Affairs has a total of 31 directors, and Taiwanese compatriots belong to tens of thousands. Everyone loves and helps each other like a warm family.

According to Zheng Danfeng, every summer, the Pujiang Travel to Taiwan Association will organize members and family members to "tour along the Pujiang River" to visit the mountains and rivers of their hometown.

In order to deepen cross-strait youth exchanges, Zheng Danfeng has also organized many Taiwanese youths to inspect Pujiang.

On the basis of cross-strait youth exchanges, the Pujiang County Taiwan Federation established a youth association on March 3, 2016. "Such frequent interactions and exchanges give relatives on both sides of the strait more opportunities to meet." Zheng Danfeng said. A special "homework" was also assigned to everyone, that is, a letter from home, a greeting, and a visit to deepen the feelings.

This year, the Pujiang County Taiwan Federation specially organized the "Pu-Taiwan Painting, Calligraphy and Photography Exhibition". The Pujiang Travel to Taiwan Association mobilized Taiwanese businessmen and their families to participate and received 35 paintings, calligraphy and photography works by Taiwanese compatriots.

Zheng Danfeng said, "We will deepen the Putai Painting, Calligraphy and Photography Exhibition next year, and we look forward to more villagers participating in the creation of works."

Not only does he actively build bridges for the exchanges between compatriots on both sides of the Strait, Zheng Danfeng is also actively involved in public welfare undertakings.

Zheng Danfeng's father has always supported the work of caring for the next generation, such as building the "Caring Bridge" project, mobilizing all walks of life to donate more than 3 million yuan to students in need, so that more than 110 underachievers with famous academics and excellent academics can enter the gate of colleges and universities.

Zheng Danfeng said that he would continue his father's love and responsibility.

Today, Zheng Danfeng has taken over the baton from his father, sponsored many children, and regularly visits the children in the orphanage, striving to make the children feel the warmth of the family.
