November 29, 2021 "Administer 4.6 million doses from Wednesday 1 December to Sunday 12". It is the minimum number of daily inoculations throughout Italy advocated by the Commissioner for the Emergency, Francesco Figliuolo in a circular addressed to the Regions on the target values of the vaccination campaign. The daily peak of inoculations is expected on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 December and Thursday 9 and Friday 10 December, with 450 thousand administrations per day.
The extraordinary commissioner for the emergency Francesco Paolo Figliuolo "in acknowledging the acceleration given to the administration of booster doses thanks to the flexibility of the Regions and the Public Administration in incrementally adjusting the device to the changed needs" sent to local authorities "by way of of collaboration "the target reference values to be understood as the minimum number of daily inoculations that is considered desirable.
The average is around 400 thousand vaccinations per day. In detail, the target is set at 400,000 for December 1-3 and 450,000 for December 6-7-9-10. As for the weekend for Saturday 4 and 11 December the target is 350 thousand while for Sunday 5 and 13 December it drops to 300 thousand as well as for the holiday of 8 December.
Massive use of resources
To reach the minimum target of 4.6 million doses from 1st to 12th December ", the Regions and Autonomous Provinces are invited to seize all the opportunities deriving from the massive use of the resources that can actually be used for the continuation of the campaign vaccinal ". This is what is reported in the circular of Commissioner Figliuolo.
"Top priority to be guaranteed in favor of the categories most vulnerable to Covid-19 by age or high fragility and those for which vaccination is mandatory".
