Students from Jean-Bauchez college in Ban-Saint-Martin (Moselle) have obtained raclette served in the establishment's canteen.
To do this, they had previously had to take several steps to convince decision-makers of the merits of their request.
They first set up a collective to support their request.
The group was baptized Rires et raclettes chantants (RERC), indicates Lorraine Actu.

They were then able to make their official request to the college administration.
They also expressed their desiderata through an original song in which they said: "In socks or tap dancing, I like raclette, with it it's party, I like raclette".
The song seems to have seduced the principal, who granted their request but by setting a condition.
The college students had to perform their song in October to be entitled to a meal of cheese.
The students having accomplished their part of the bargain, the canteen will offer raclette on Monday, December 13, date of the world day of this dish.
