China News Service, November 29. According to Korean media reports on the 29th, the late South Korean President Roh Tae-woo will be buried in Donghwa Admiration Park in the Unification Park in Pazhou City, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

  According to the report, on the 29th local time, Lu Taiyu’s survivors stated that in order to follow the deceased’s wish for peace and reunification of Korea and North Korea, and not to burden the country and society, they listened to many suggestions and finally decided to bury the deceased in Tonghe Admiration Park.

The burial date will be finalized after the preparations are completed.

  According to reports, Dongwha Admiration Park is a cemetery in the Unification Park in Paju, South Korea.

The survivors of former South Korean President Roh Tae-woo had previously stated that they would like to bury the deceased in the Paju Unification Park to comfort his betrayal.

  Currently, Roh Tae-woo's ashes are temporarily placed in Gumdan Temple in Paju City.

  On October 26, Lu Taiyu died of illness at the age of 88.

  Lu Taiyu's survivors disclosed the last words of their deceased to the public that day.

The last words stated, "I feel very honored and grateful to be able to serve the great motherland and people, and I will accept my destiny humbly. I hope that the dream of reunification between Korea and North Korea, which has not been realized in my life, can be realized in the hands of the next generation."

  Roh Tae-woo was elected the first elected president of South Korea in 1987. He was sworn in as president in 1988 and stepped down in 1993. During his tenure, China and South Korea established diplomatic relations.
