Egypt.. Military Intelligence talks about a threat and the Minister of Defense announces the readiness of the army

The head of the Egyptian Military Intelligence raised a number of threats facing Egypt, during a meeting with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, in the presence of Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Mohamed Zaki.

The head of the Military Intelligence referred to plans aimed at destabilizing the country currently, adding that the Egyptian armed forces are confronting them.

In turn, the Egyptian Minister of Defense affirmed "the readiness of the armed forces to deter anyone who is tempted to tamper with Egypt's security and stability."

The meeting, which dealt with international and regional changes, was attended by Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and a number of senior army commanders.
