And she revealed the Ministry’s announcement to approve the boosting dose for all categories of adults aged 18 years and over, for those vaccinated with the two basic doses of the “Pfizer Piontech” and “Sputnik” vaccine, six months after the second dose, in addition to the booster doses for those who received the Sinopharma vaccine, which were administered Announced in advance.

She stated that national efforts in all governmental, local and private sectors are continuing to provide a healthy and protective environment for members of society, as the authorities work through specialized teams and qualified human cadres to ensure health stability for all segments of society, including citizens, residents and visitors of the country.

Al Hosani said: “These efforts come as a continuation of the series of preparedness and proactive efforts that we have witnessed since the beginning of the pandemic fight, as all national and local sectors have proven their role in proactively activating procedures and strategies in record time and in various fields in terms of early response, monitoring, treatment, follow-up, clinical research and scientific development, from Supporting scientific studies and research in the field of drug and preventive innovation.

She pointed out that there is a percentage of children and school students who have not yet received the vaccine and are still being vaccinated.

In addition, there is a very small percentage of groups excluded from the vaccine for medical reasons, pointing out that vaccination of most groups of society is one of the main factors that helped stabilize the epidemiological situation we are witnessing today.

She said: "This percentage does not mean stopping efforts in the field of vaccinations, but rather the continuation of the booster dose vaccination, as studies have indicated weak immunity resulting from vaccination over time, which indicates the importance of the booster dose to enhance immunity and raise it to the required level."
