- We want to explain why the work model is worth keeping in Forshaga, says Rebecca Lindman Dahl, supervisor within We want to contribute.
So far, the project has been financed with money from the General Heritage Fund, and through the non-profit organization JAG, which is behind the working model.
- But now we need help with funding from the municipality, says Rebecca Lindman Dahl.
The municipality must make trade-offs
Several municipal politicians attended the meeting, including Maria Norell (S), chair of the care and welfare committee in Forshaga.
She believes that the project shows a good way of working with inclusion in society.
- There are many examples of good efforts that started as a project.
Unfortunately, project money runs out, but that does not mean that the municipality automatically goes in and pays, says Maria Norell.
Now the municipality needs to consider whether they should be responsible for the project's financing.
- We may not be able to cover the amount of money but find other opportunities for collaboration.
From a political point of view, two politicians from the Riksdag also participated, Mikael Dahlqvist (S), a member of the Social Affairs Committee, and Marlene Lund Kopparklint (M).
Kopparklint was previously a municipal councilor in Karlstad, at the time when We want to contribute began a collaboration with Karlstad municipality.
