According to reports, the Sudanese military earlier issued a statement on social media saying that “Ethiopian troops and militia groups attacked Sudanese troops in Al-Fashaga Al-sughra, causing casualties.”
The statement also revealed that the Sudanese army "repelled the attack" and caused "significant losses" to the attackers.
However, the statement of the Sudanese military did not provide any details about the death toll.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of the Ethiopian government has not yet responded to the incident.
