Trudeau visits the flood-ravaged western Canada area

November 27, 2021 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited areas of Canada's Pacific coast affected by catastrophic flooding.

And, in a joint press conference with British Columbia Prime Minister John Horgan, he warned: "This will not be the last crisis Canadians will go through."   

"Extreme weather events will become more frequent - he added - we must tackle the problems of long-term climate change also by cutting CO2 emissions and making infrastructures more resistant".
