Chinanews.com, Beijing, November 26 (Reporter Li Jingze) Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said at a regular press conference on the 26th that on November 26, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially issued a note to the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and decided to place the Chinese diplomatic mission in Lithuania. The name was changed to the representative office of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Lithuania, and the Lifang was requested to change the title of its diplomatic agency in China accordingly.

Zhao Lijian pointed out that China’s move is a legitimate countermeasure against China’s damage to China’s sovereignty, and the responsibility lies entirely with it.

The Chinese people must not be insulted, and China's national sovereignty and territorial integrity must not be violated.
