The Prime Minister announced on Saturday (November 27th) that he had sacked the chief of police and his deputy, after a bloody crackdown that has left 42 dead and hundreds injured since the coup d'état of 25 October.

For the opposition to the putsch, the measure is insufficient.

Because the repression was also carried out by various armed militias, in particular by the Rapid Support Forces as well as by the intelligence services.

In accordance with the agreement signed last week between Abdallah Hamdok, back in his post, and General al-Burhan, several political prisoners have been released after one month of detention.

While hundreds of others are still being held in unknown locations, the opposition denounces a game of fools.

From our correspondent in Khartoum,

Several representatives of political parties, former ministers detained for four weeks as well as a hundred activists of the resistance committees detained in the prison of Soba, in the capital, have found the light of day.

"

The Sudanese revolution is entering its fourth year with strength, determination and will, and its fate will be victorious,

" said Mohammed Nagy al-Assam, one of the figures of the Sudanese Professional Association released Thursday evening.

On the same day, Madani Abbas, former Minister of Commerce, Faez al-Silik, former adviser to Abdallah Hamdok, as well as activist Nazim Siraj were among others released.

On Saturday it was the turn of Khaled Omar, former Minister of Cabinet Affairs.

One of the released politicians, Noureddine Saleh Eddine, one of the leaders of the Forces for Freedom and Change, said he was shocked by the agreement Abdallah Hamdok signed with General al-Burhan.

The details of the deal

, which he learned from the prison administration, are "

shocking and inferior to what the Sudanese people expected from an independent political leader of the caliber of Abdallah Hamdok

."

On the one hand, the authorities release prisoners in the capital, in the window, and on the other they continue to arrest activists and in particular members of resistance committees across the country.

Since Monday, arrests have taken place in Nyala or Zalingei in Darfur, in Sennar, el-Obeid or even in Gedaref, lawyers confirm.

Power blows hot and cold.

Abdallah Hamdok

, for example, ordered Wednesday the immediate end of dismissals and the review of all appointments announced during his detention.

But the next day, the Sovereignty Council chaired by General Burhan, supposed to no longer interfere in the decisions of the executive, appointed Abdelaziz Fatih al-Rahman as head of the judiciary, the same man chosen for this post by Omar el -Bash before it falls.

"

Hamdok has become an employee of the junta

", loose Walid al-Riyah spokesperson for the Association of Sudanese Professionals.

The Communist Party goes further, describing the prime minister as a "

puppet

" in the hands of the military to "

liquidate the Sudanese revolution

".

In the streets, the return of Abdallah Hamdok does not seem to have started the mobilization.

The resistance committees will soon announce the date of new demonstrations against the military power.
