According to the Solomon Islands police on November 27, local time, the police found three people dead near the China Town in the capital Honiara that day. After preliminary confirmation, the deceased were not Chinese citizens.
The Chinese Embassy in the Solomon Islands has asked the local police to verify the situation and conduct a comprehensive investigation through the local overseas Chinese delegation. As of now, there have been no reports of casualties of Chinese compatriots.
