Following the decision to continue casting, Matsui, the representative of the Nippon Ishin no Kai, has decided to pull out young people in their 40s or younger for all three party roles, including the secretary general.

It seems that there is also the aim of promoting the reform route and fostering its own successor in order to expand the party power outside the Kansai region where it is based.

On the 27th, the Nippon Ishin no Kai held an extraordinary party convention and decided not to hold a representative election, but Matsui, who is the mayor of Osaka, will continue to cast.

In response to this, Mr. Matsui indicated his intention to assign Secretary-General Baba to replace Katayama, who resigned due to poor physical condition.

In addition, we have renewed the party's three roles, including the secretary general who succeeded Mr. Baba, and decided to pull out young people in their 40s or younger once or twice.

Fumitake Fujita, a member of the House of Representatives (40) elected from the 12th ward of Osaka, is the secretary-general. The policy is to appoint Hirofumi Yanagase, a member of the House of Councilors (47), a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly.

Mr. Matsui seems to have the aim of promoting reforms and fostering his own successor in order to expand the party power outside the Kansai region where he is based.
