The discovery of half a decomposing body in Kuwait raised the alertness of the security services.

Al-Jarida newspaper reported that a citizen informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior at dawn today about the presence of a strange object near the Sulaibiya tunnel, next to dairy farms.

A security source told the newspaper: "As soon as the report was received, patrols of the Jahra Security Directorate were directed to the site of the communication, noting that upon the arrival of the security men to the site of the communication, they saw half a skeleton with a decomposing head.

The source added that the security men, when searching the area, found some bones of the body at a distance of 20 meters from the location of the first half of the body, pointing out that the security men summoned the forensic evidence and the forensic doctor to the site of finding the body.

The source pointed out that the initial examination of the body by the forensic doctor indicated that the death occurred several months ago and that the body was subjected to animal mauling, pointing out that the security men informed the Deputy Public Prosecutor, who ordered that the body be removed and referred to the Forensic Medicine Department to determine the identity of its owner, and ordered the security men to register A felony case and commissioned the detectives to investigate the case.
