November 27, 2021Italy wins the first point in the match against Colombia, the second round of group E of the Davis Cup underway at the fast indoor Pala Alpitur in Turin.
After yesterday's Italian victory over the USA, the home tennis player, Lorenzo Sonego, number 27 Atp, leads the Azzurri by beating Nicolás Mejía, 275 in the ranking, in three sets.
The first goes as a surprise to the South American who wins 6-7 (5), but the Turin redeems himself by winning the other two with a score of 6-4, 6-1 in 2 hours and 36 minutes of play.
In the second singles Jannik Sinner, n.10 Atp, will challenge Daniel Elahi Galán (111).
