Car overturned in the lake - the driver was in the water for a quarter of an hour

The car landed on the roof and filled up quickly, but the driver managed to get to the back seat where an air pocket was formed.

The woman was in the water for 15 minutes before the rescue service was able to winch up the car and take her out.

- We had a surface lifeguard in the water who kept in touch with the woman, says Fredrik Stjärnebring.

According to Fredrik Stjärnebring, the woman was severely chilled.

She was taken to the emergency room by ambulance but according to the police must have been awake and talkative.

At present, the cause of the accident is unknown, but the police do not suspect any crime.
