WHO to hold emergency meeting on November 26 over COVID-19 strain found in Africa

"The meeting will begin today after 12:00 (14:00 Moscow time)," said WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier.

According to him, the meeting will last several hours and will be of a technical nature.

As previously reported by the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the EC will propose to cancel flights with the countries of southern Africa due to the discovery of a new strain of COVID-19.
