“At 10 am (06:00 Moscow time) today, we have 63 people who have applied for medical help after an emergency, 13 of them have been prescribed outpatient treatment, the rest of the patients have been hospitalized in four Kuzbass hospitals,” Kheraskov said, quoted by TASS.

The hospitalized are in a state of mild to moderate severity.

Earlier, mine rescuers confirmed the deaths of 46 miners and six rescuers at a mine in Kuzbass.

The preliminary cause of the emergency at the Listvyazhnaya mine is considered to be a methane explosion.

After the accident, the authorities of the Kemerovo region declared a three-day mourning period from 26 to 28 November.
