Several vaccination centers will reopen in Île-de-France after the government's call to be administered a booster dose against Covid-19, the regional health agency (ARS) said on Friday.

She added that 2,700 pharmacies, or three quarters of pharmacies, and 1,660 doctors offer vaccination in the region.

“Thus, in the Yvelines, seven centers are to open next week, so as to double the current supply.

The decisive role of city medicine

The vaccination strategy is also based on city medicine.

"Today, more than 40% of the vaccine doses injected are at his pharmacist or his doctor, sometimes even his dentist or his midwife", insists the ARS, for whom "we can push this offer even further. de ville ”, in particular among doctors or through occupational medicine.

At the national level, the government spokesperson, Gabriel Attal, said this Friday to our colleagues from BFMTV and RMC that 300 vaccination centers would reopen in "the next few days, the next weeks".

"There was a peak at 1,600 vaccination centers in France, today we are at 1,100", he detailed.

Regarding the recall, he said: "We have the doses, 26 million are in stock, several million are already in the refrigerators of pharmacists and doctors.
