EC head urged to ban entry from countries where new strain of COVID-19 is common

"All air traffic to these states should be suspended until we have a clear understanding of the threat posed by this variant of the virus," the head of the EC stressed.

In her opinion, tourists who return from countries where the disease is recorded with this strain must undergo strict quarantine.
